Account Executive - $118-128k OTE - Hybrid, Toronto
Meritt is excited to present an opportunity for an ambitious Account Executive to join a fast-growing, product-led startup that’s reimagining how outbound sales gets done. This is a builder role—you’ll be the first AE hire, working directly with founders to shape the sales motion, create scalable processes, and help define what best-in-class outbound looks like. What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the entire sales cycle: discovery, demo, follow-up, close
- Run a mix of outbound and inbound—cold calls, emails, LinkedIn DMs
- Build repeatable sales systems, from templates to CRM workflows
- Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, and product to drive customer success
- Post, engage, and build your voice in the outbound community
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in early-stage or fast-paced environments
- A proven closer who prospects independently—you’re comfortable with cold outreach
- Able to work autonomously while building scalable processes
- Analytical, coachable, creative—and excited to sell a product that works
- Willing to be visible online—posting, sharing, and helping grow the brand
